Preempting the impacts

Navigating the impacts of changes in business can be fraught with confusion and myth out of a lack of communication, discussion and agreement. There is no one size fits all.

Understanding what is changing and what the impacts are is critical to being able to provide assurance over the changes happening in reality.

There are simple templates to follow, the work is in how you articulate the changes, impacts and agreed actions to manage them. The easiest and most typical way is to capture:

What happens now, what will happen, what the impact will be, who’s impacted and what needs to be done to support the change.

Even more critical is summarising these and ensuring the relevant individuals responsible for approving the changes are aware and comfortable with what’s coming in future, smoothing the path to success.
