Thinking about the culture

This, of course, affects everything. The important thing is to understand what the working culture is like and to adapt.

Change Management is all about understanding how something works currently, what needs to change and how best to support making it happen.

That won’t ever be achieved unless you stand in the shoes of culture you’re working in, regardless of how different it is in height or appearance.

Regardless of culture, I find that changes get made where there is real intention. By this, I mean, there is a job to be done and people are working on it together to achieve it.

Problems occur by not understanding the pace of a work culture which can differ between teams and business functions due to the nature of a a particular operation.

Learn it and adapt accordingly.
